Over the past 18 months, it has been a privilege to partner with The Women’s Initiative (TWI), a Charlottesville, Virginia based non-profit whose mission is to provide women with effective counseling, social support, and education so they can transform challenges into positive change and growth. The goal of this partnership was to explore and evaluate options for updating TWI’s electronic health record system. This is a vital piece of infrastructure that helps the providers at TWI manage their clients’ health information and which can provide valuable insights with respect to patient outcomes, provider workload, and program efficacy.
